What it is: LILAC Florida Water is a seasonal recipe I brew when I'm lucky enough to find local Lilacs, usually late Spring to early Summer. The sweet delicate scent of Lilac combined with citrus, herbs and essential oils make this recipe completely unique to our region. LILAC Florida Water is housed in the cutest NEW vintage inspired apothecary bottles! Because I used a relatively small amount of Lilacs (as in all I could find) this recipe is quite limited. All Florida Water recipes at Muse Botanica are steeped through at least 2 moon cycles.
The history: Florida Water began as a simple unisex cologne water in the 19th and grew in popularity among spiritual practitioners of all varieties. The combination of fresh citrus, fragrant flowers, seasonal botanicals and natural essential oils are the source of its magic and aromatherapy.
How to use: to cleanse and purify hands, sprinkle a few drops of LILAC Florida Water Florida Water into palms and rub together. To scent yourself, sprinkle a few drops onto desired areas of the body and rub gently, avoiding eyes. To cleanse crystals, sacred objects and ritual tools, dampen a cotton cloth with LILAC FW and rub onto all surfaces. As a multipurpose household cleaner, dampen a cotton cloth with LILAC FW and wipe down altar spaces, countertops, desktops, computer keyboards, etc. Test a small area of the object or surface before you clean before using. SHAKE WELL.
